Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CalculusMate handles information when you use the website, solver, account, and subscription features.

Information we process

We may process account details you provide, authentication records, subscription status, usage counters, technical request data, and mathematical expressions submitted to the solver. We do not require an account for an initial standard calculation.

Why we use information

Information is used to provide and secure the service, enforce usage limits, maintain subscriptions, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and improve supported calculus methods. We do not sell personal information.

Solver data

Anonymous calculations are not intended to become public or indexable pages. When history is enabled for an account, saved expressions are private and excluded from search indexing. Do not submit confidential or personally identifying information as part of a math expression.

Service providers

Visitor analytics

Analytics are off until you explicitly choose Allow analytics. If you accept, CalculusMate may record a random visitor identifier, a session identifier, page path, language, device category, referring domain, visible engagement time, and a limited set of product events. We also use Microsoft Clarity session recordings and heatmaps to understand page interactions such as clicks and scrolling.

Solver workspaces are explicitly masked from Clarity, and form inputs are masked by Clarity. Our analytics event payloads do not include submitted formulas, solver results, uploaded images, names, email addresses, account-page content, or full-IP fields.

CalculusMate may use Cloudflare for hosting and security, a configured database provider for account data, an enabled payment provider for purchases, and Google Analytics, Plausible, or Microsoft Clarity for product measurement after consent. Provider features remain disabled until configured and permitted.

Retention and security

We retain information only as needed for the service, legal duties, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Access controls, request validation, rate limits, encrypted transport, and provider secrets are used to protect the service.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of account data where applicable. You can reject analytics without losing essential service features. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed through Analytics choices in the footer. Withdrawing consent reloads the page so third-party analytics stop loading. You may also cancel a subscription using the account billing controls when payments are enabled.
